A Message from Dianne Borsini-Burr

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been driven by an entrepreneurial spirit—the desire to create something meaningful, to lead with purpose, and to connect deeply with people. My first company, Accountants Inc., grew into a national success and helped me realize how much joy I found in building businesses, mentoring others, and making a difference in people’s lives.

But it wasn’t until I combined my lifelong love of art with that entrepreneurial passion that I found my true calling.

In 2000, Borsini-Burr Gallery was born. What started as a dream quickly became a destination—for collectors, artists, and art lovers from around the world. Over the past 25 years, I’ve had the great honor of selling hundreds of original paintings and drawings, and countless sculptures, fine art editions, and stone lithographs. Our gallery became a home for some of the world’s most beloved artists, and a place where collectors could find beauty, meaning, and joy.

Whether through our galleries in Half Moon Bay or our beautiful showroom overlooking the ocean in Montara, we created more than just a space for art—we built a community rooted in creativity, passion, and relationships that have lasted a lifetime.

Now, as I officially step into retirement, I do so with immense pride and gratitude. This chapter has been one of the most rewarding of my life. I am deeply thankful to every artist, every collector, and every friend who shared in this journey.

The good news is that the spirit of Borsini-Burr will continue. Mary Ann Dela Cruz will carry the torch, representing the extraordinary Kinuko Y. Craft—one of the greatest living artists. Kinuko continues to create breathtaking new originals, and Mary Ann remains dedicated to bringing these masterpieces to collectors around the world.

To all of you who have supported us along the way: thank you. Thank you for believing in the power of art, for celebrating life through beauty, and for making these past 25 years so unforgettable.
