Ivan Clarke is a celebrated New Zealand artist best known for his beloved character, Lonely Dog. Ivan’s artistic journey began at a young age, as he followed in his father’s footsteps, imitating him at the easel. By 11 years old, Ivan was already selling his own artwork, demonstrating a natural talent that would continue to flourish.
After honing his skills in the family businesses of sign painting, illustration, and commercial art, Ivan’s lifelong passion for creating art became his full-time pursuit, leading him to his current role as a celebrated and innovative artist sharing the whimsical world of Lonely Dog with audiences worldwide.
