Mother Goose

For as long as I can remember I have loved and cherished book because of their ability to stimulate the imagination. I have a passion for books the older the better. In Mother Goose I wanted to exemplify the wonder of being truly lost in a book. I filled the wall in the back with classic titles and decided that the mother goose nursery rhymes would be the most classic of all and would result in the most fun as all of the characters came spilling out of the book. It is fun when my work takes me on my own journey of self-discovery, as I didn’t know most of the nursery rhymes when I began. Wanted the girl deep in thought and the notion of imagination spilling out if full fruition. Once again breaking down the barriers between reality and imagination.
