I was looking to create an image that would depict the essence of spring. I wanted lightness in the imagery and palate. Put the flowers where the carrots should go and put the carrots in the hat. There is a hard to find praying mantis in the hat. To this day the girls expression is one of my very favorites.
For more than three decades, Lori Preusch has woven enchantment through her masterfully detailed compositions, creating portals to realms where imagination reigns supreme.
